First Post!

Ill be surprised if I manage to keep this up but I have little else to do in the evenings so I might as well give it a go. As the title description suggests this is a place I can ramble about my love for electronics with a bit of Japanese anime thrown in here and there for good measure. Its safe to say that I developed my interest in electronics thanks in part to the big Mechs of anime, most notably Evangeion and Gundam Wing which I watched as a young whipper snapper. If you don't have a clue what I just spoke about then either look them up or just forget about it, there will be plenty more opportunities for me to talk bollocks confuse the hell out of you as time goes on.

My electronics knowledge Is entirely self taught, I did start off learning it in higher education but things went a bit pear shaped after a while, I have been practising it at home ever since. Now days I possess the rudimentary skills to design, prototype and manufacture circuits in the comfort of my own home. I'm by no means a master but few of us can claim to be.
I first picked up my Arduino several years ago but thanks to work and time restraints I have only just started to take it more seriously, I use a older revision 2 Arduino Uno, at some point I'll buy a Mega but until this one dies, runs short of memory or pins I'll be sticking with it.
In little over a week I have learned the basic framework of the Arduino and made good progress in controlling a 16x2 LCD screen, My current project is a secrete known only by myself , my father, all my fathers friends, their family's, their family's friends, their golf partners and some chap I bumped into the other day called Bernard.

What could be going on here?
It should be easy enough for those with the right knowledge to guess what will be going on here, all the clues you need are there in the picture. In the next few days I expect a delivery which will let me expand what i have written about here.
For now that is it, have fun and good luck >:3
